Account deletion

You can delete your AeroTask Recorder account at any time. This page explains how to do it, what data is erased and what is kept (and why).

1. Delete your account from the app

The fastest way is directly from the app:

1. Open AeroTask Recorder on your phone (iOS or Android)
2. Go to the Profile tab (bottom navigation)
3. Tap the gear icon (⚙️) at the top right of the profile screen
4. In the panel that opens, scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account" (red item with trash icon)
5. Confirm in the dialog that appears

You'll be signed out immediately. All associated data will be erased within 30 days.

2. Delete your account by email

If you no longer have access to the app, send an email from the address associated with your account to:

Please specify the email of your account. We process all requests within 30 days and confirm by email when the deletion is effective.

3. What data is erased

When your account is deleted, the following is permanently erased:

• Your email address and login identifier
• Your name, profile photo and personal info
• Your licences, qualifications and Part-66 information
• All your logged tasks, records and generated reports
• Your evidence photos attached to tasks
• Your usage history within the app

4. What data is kept (and why)

To meet our legal and accounting obligations, certain data is retained beyond account deletion:

• Invoices and payment history (only if you've subscribed to AeroTask Manager): kept for 10 years, in compliance with article L123-22 of the French Code of Commerce.
• Anonymised technical logs (no link to your identity): kept for 12 months for security and fraud-prevention purposes.

No other data is kept. If you wish to also delete invoices before the legal retention period expires, this is not legally possible (mandatory retention).

5. Consequences of deletion

• Your data cannot be recovered after deletion
• You won't be able to sign in with this email anymore
• Reports you've previously exported and downloaded remain in your possession
• If you create a new account later with the same email, it will be a brand new empty account

6. A question, an issue
